He is managing a staff of nearly 30 cooks, stewards and managers across all food & beverage outlets to ensure that a consistent and memorable experience is delivered to every person who dines at any of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets.

“I am excited about this opportunity to lead culinary operations at Hyatt Regency LAX and to deliver our ‘unquestionably unairport’ philosophy to guests through unique food and beverage offerings both for guests of our restaurant outlets, as well as through high-end and non-traditional menus for our meeting and event attendees,” says Chef Gold. “Hyatt Regency LAX is positioned as one of the world’s great gateways, and I am thrilled to carry the responsibility of introducing guests from near and far to the neighborhood fare and distinct flavors that are intrinsic to the culture of Los Angeles.”

Chef Gold brings to Hyatt Regency LAX more than 15 years of experience in the kitchen, as well as directing food and beverage operations, at highly-acclaimed hotels, including Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, Loews Hollywood Hotel and Manhattan Beach Marriott, and for international hospitality brands such as Renaissance Hotels and Marriott International. Chef Gold has been the recipient of numerous brand and industry awards, including being named Leader of the Year at Manhattan Beach Marriott (2014).

Since joining the team at Hyatt Regency LAX, Chef Gold has introduced new catering menus that serve attendees of meetings and events at the hotel to incorporate more imaginative and unique offerings – with a particular eye toward dietary inclusiveness. Guests with dietary restrictions, such as those who are vegan, gluten-free and paleo, will find a multitude of options available on the new menus.
