In this role, Crennen will utilize his superior leadership skills, combined with a performance history teeming with business growth and development, to oversee all culinary direction for the hotel, including banquets, special events and daily dining in its three renowned eateries, Zocca Cuisine D’Italia, Cafecito Café and the Pool Bar.

The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio welcomes Crennen from his position as Executive Chef at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol, where he spent two years overseeing the production of a $6.5 million operation which included 367 guest rooms, a Sheraton Club lounge, 16 event rooms and more than 17,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Crennen’s resume also features time spent as the Director of Food and Beverage at the Omni Charlotte Hotel, along with a 12-year stint as the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef at the Omni Colonnade Hotel in San Antonio. Crennen’s educational background is brimming with knowledge learned at some of the nation’s most commended establishments, such as the Culinary Institute of America, the world’s premier culinary college, and the American Culinary Federation.
