ATLANTA, GA – April 26, 2016– Joel Carver, President and CEO of Atlanta based Carver Hotel Group, the hospitality infrastructure powerhouse, and Peggy Olson, President of St. Paul, MN based Olson HR Solutions, have announced the creation Carver-Olson Hospitality Search, which will function as a subsidiary of Carver Hotel Group. This joint venture will merge the hospitality faced executive search function of Olson into the Carver family of brands bringing all hospitality search and task force support under one umbrella; and providing a one stop shopping environment for both CHG and OHR hospitality clients.
This merger will effectively allow for a hotel, management company or ownership group to make one phone call to schedule a Task Force Consultant, as well as launch the executive search process for a permanent replacement. The combined databases of Carver and Olson will create one of the largest hospitality networks in the market today, encompassing over 20,000 hospitality professionals throughout North America.
Peggy Olson, President of OHR will assume the position of CHG Vice President, and Managing Director of the Carver-Olson division. Joel Carver will continue in the role of President and Chief Executive Officer. As part of the integration process, all hospitality search teams and functions will be migrated into CHG’s recently designed and implemented, industry leading support system, BIB. This merger will create a recruiting network of over 20,000 top-talent hospitality professionals.
