AUSTIN, TX USA (March 1, 2016) — Allied partners of global hospitality association, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), will hold co-located conferences with the internationally known Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC(SM)). HITEC, which will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, La. USA, will be June 20-23, 2016. Co-located events include the International Hospitality Technology Association (iHITA) Annual Conference, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International’s (HSMAI) Revenue Optimization Conference (ROC) and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) e-commerce and technology council meeting.

The iHITA Annual Conference will be held on June 19, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The conference will bring together educators, vendors and researchers of information technology in the global hospitality industry with the goal of improving the quality of education, research and technology itself. HFTP will again sponsor the Best Research Paper award which earns the winner $2,000 USD. The deadline for submissions is March 11, 2016.

HSMAI’s ROC, June 22, 2016, will address the most critical trends affecting revenue management in hotels today. The event includes more than 500 key stakeholders each year to deliver the most compelling and comprehensive revenue management event for the hotel industry. The conference will include certification review courses, hands-on vendor workshops and education sessions.

The AH&LA technology and e-business meeting will be held on June 20. The Technology and E-business Committee meet twice per year to discuss the changing face of technology and e-business in the hospitality industry. The committee works alongside AH&LA to create official statements related to pertinent issues within the industry.
