CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – March 15, 2021 – Clear Sky Software, Inc. ® announced today that the Tysons Corner Marriott, located in metropolitan Washington DC, has expanded its use of Clear Sky Software’s money-saving inventory systems.  Tysons Corner Marriott has been a customer of Clear Sky Software for several years utilizing the company’s perpetual inventory system in the beverage department.  After achieving much success with Clear Sky’s beverage inventory software, the hotel made the decision to extend this technology to the culinary department.  Now Tysons Corner Marriott has one vendor and one system for tracking and controlling food and beverage products.  Features include purchasing, receiving, storeroom requisition, transfers, physical inventory, and a rich and flexible reporting system.  Tysons Corner also implemented Clear Sky’s interface to Marriott’s HotShop procurement system thus creating a more automated and accurate product receiving process.  In addition, Clear Sky’s interface to Micros Simphony POS was installed allowing management to receive true cost reports by location, product or product categories.  This bar code-based software, hardware, and services combination is helping Tysons Corner Marriott gain better control over their food and beverage inventory while maintaining lower costs and saving valuable time.
