Following a year of impressive growth and expansion, the internal promotions further bolster the hotel management company’s future development plans

Dallas, TX — January 18, 2024 — Remington Hospitality, a leading hotel management company, is pleased to announce two leadership promotions — Jason Reader to Chief Operating Officer and Jale Hashimi to Senior Vice President of Operations. Following a year of remarkable growth, marked by successful expansions into the Caribbean market and continued influence in the boutique hotel landscape, the company has strategically expanded its leadership team. These key appointments aim to solidify Remington Hospitality’s position as the foremost third-party operator in the nation.

Leadership Promotion Announcements  

As Chief Operating Officer, Reader will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Sloan Dean and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, engineering, and food & beverage. Reader will succeed Stan Kennedy, who will transition into the role of Managing Director until his retirement on April 5 of this year.

Another important promotion to note is Jale Hashimi who has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations. As Remington begins to hone in on securing more independent and lifestyle hotels, Hashimi will be responsible for elevating and ensuring operational success for Remington’s rapidly growing lifestyle portfolio.

Remington is also proud to announce the retirement of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Loretta Macke. After a fruitful 36-year career in the hospitality industry, serving 30 of those years at Remington, Macke will be retiring this April. Remington will begin the search for a replacement for Macke in the coming months.

2023 Milestones and 2024 Outlook

Last year marked an impressive year for Remington Hospitality as it finalized a total of 23 hotel management agreements – 16 of which are open and operational, while the remaining seven are in the development phase. With the new additions to its esteemed portfolio in 2023, Remington entered seven new markets. Notable inclusions include Croc’s Resort & Casino in Jaco, Costa Rica, the management firm’s inaugural property in the Caribbean market, Autograph Collection Lake Oconee in Lake Oconee, Georgia, and Murrieta Hot Springs in Murrieta, California.

Fueled by exceptional service and continued strategic partnerships, Remington Hospitality expects to continue seeing industry-leading growth domestically and internationally in the coming year. Among the projects in the pipeline set to open this year are Le Meridien Fort Worth and Salt Ranch Nashville. Furthermore, Remington Hospitality plans to bolster its footprint in the Caribbean by entering into several additional agreements, encompassing two hotels in the Dominican Republic, an Autograph hotel in Sarchi, Costa Rica, and a luxury ecotourism project in Monte Verde, Costa Rica.
