New Portal Enables Partners to Develop the Next Generation of Integrated Hospitality Applications

October 6, 2015 – Portsmouth, NH – Newmarket®, an Amadeus company, announces the public launch of the Newmarket Web Services (NWS) Developer Portal, enabling hospitality technology partners to accelerate application delivery and improve customer and guest experiences.

Providing Partners Needed Resources

Through the NWS Developer Portal, hospitality technology partners can gain access to Newmarket APIs as well as extensive support, documentation, and community resources, enabling them to facilitate the rapid creation of applications that integrate with Newmarket sales and catering solutions.

“With this powerful new resource, our partners have the opportunity to build Newmarket certified solutions,” stated Melissa Jurkoic, Technical Product Manager for Newmarket. “They also gain the added value of advertising in our Partner Apps area, increasing their visibility to hospitality organizations that are looking to integrate additional products with their sales and catering solution.”

Not being tied to a single platform allows developers to quickly create solutions and provides for a secure environment partners can trust. “We are committed to delivering platform agnostic APIs that enable developers to use familiar tools such as HTML/Javascript or MUMPS, all with secure authentication using OAuth and other industry standards,” said T Antonio, API Evangelist for Newmarket.

Early Adopters Already Seeing Value

Several key integration partners have already adopted use of the NWS Developer Portal. Their favorable responses provide a solid foundation for expansion to future partners.

As an early adopter, Four Winds Interactive is already seeing success by creating a seamless integration experience for organizations. “We work with thousands of clients around the globe to support their visual communications programs,” said Jason Fullen, Senior Industry Product Manager for Four Winds Interactive.

“The NWS Developer Portal provided ample documentation and resources to fine tune the integration. This new level of collaboration with Newmarket means any size property using our two products will now have a seamless experience setting up and deploying the API,” Jason added.

Janus Displays has also been using the NWS Developer Portal and confirms that it helps drive customer success. “We love partnering with the best in the industry to find new and better ways to help our clients. Our role in the development of this industry-leading API solution ensures that we can provide the best possible outcomes for new clients and a smooth transition for our existing customers,” commented Sharon Morrow CEO of Janus Displays.

Further, Willie Jan Bons, CEO at Net Display Systems commented, “The new NWS Developer Portal made it easy for our developers to create a data connection to our smart digital signage solution, offering organizations virtually unlimited ways to display their hospitality information.”

Additionally, John Macan from Keywest Technology advises, “From start the finish, the NWS Developer Portal was very helpful and made our development process seamless.”
