Anaheim, CA (July 1, 2019) – JW Marriott, a member of Marriott International’s family of luxury brands, brings its first hotel to Orange County, CA with the opening of JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort. Set to become a centerpiece of the city and epitome of style and sophistication, the property will be the only luxury hotel outside the theme park and Anaheim Convention Center district.
Scheduled to open in early 2020, the ground up build, owned by a joint venture between Prospera Hotels, Inc. and O’Connell Hotel Group, is located at the Anaheim GardenWalk, and just steps from the Disneyland Resort®, Anaheim Convention Center and all the attractions of Downtown Anaheim.
Through a holistic approach to wellbeing, travelers can revel in a stylish garden retreat that enriches the mind, body and soul. Hotel General Manager, Nusrat Mirza notes that the JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort will be a destination in and of itself where guests leave enriched and balanced.

The luxury property will feature 466 lavish guest rooms including 19 suites with quiet floors, a lush garden outdoor area, and a yoga and Zen room for a well-balanced stay, and welcome respite from nearby attractions.
Offering an air of seclusion, the hotel’s park-like setting allows travelers to take in a more relaxing way of life, through an expansive fitness center with state-of-the-art-equipment, outdoor swimming pool, and imaginative Family by JW activities – designed for children ages 4-12 to enjoy creative adventures that inspire, educate and entertain.
Nourishing, chef-crafted menus set the tone for an array of exceptional culinary offerings throughout the hotel. Notably, the property will introduce the city’s highest rooftop bar and lounge. The soon-to-be nighttime hotspot will feature creative libations and spectacular views of theme park fireworks, which light the sky nightly. Additionally, an eclectic lobby
bar, quick-service market café and JW Marriott Signature Restaurant provide an array of all-day dining options and locally inspired dishes.
Providing an enriching setting to host a meeting or event, the JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort will feature 15 meeting rooms and 43,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function spaces. The spaces include 15,000 square feet for outdoor events and a 13,440 square-feet Grand Ballroom to engage up to 1,400 guests. The Grand Ballroom boasts expansive pre-function areas with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an inspiring welcome.
