Calgary based GuestTek installs it’s Managed Video Platform (MVP) for first time in Canada, bringing convergence to Calgary Hotel.

Calgary, Alberta – June 8th, 2015 – The newly redesigned Calgary Marriott Downtown will be the first in Canada to offer its guests GuestTek’s OneView Managed Video Platform (MVP), a scalable platform, giving guests a true in-home entertainment experience. Already providing high speed internet and conferencing services, GuestTek now brings convergence to the upscale hotel.

Complying with Marriott’s GRE (Guestroom Entertainment) services, MVP offers a feature rich, cost effective solution to hotels with Coax only, wired or wireless infrastructure. With an interactive program guide, guests are able to utilize functionality including future channel listings, programming descriptions, color coded general guide data and picture in picture capability. MVP also allows for customized user interfaces, customized feature sets and icon display order, specific to any property or brand.
