Richie Farina, Executive Chef

Chef Farina brings more than two decades of culinary experience to his new role as Executive Chef of Adorn Bar & Restaurant. He was most recently the opening sous chef at two-Michelin-starred Ever, and previously served as lead line cook at Monteverde and executive chef at one-Michelin-starred Moto. In his new role, Chef Farina will oversee the culinary operations at Adorn Bar & Restaurant, including new menu ideation, procurement, personnel management and more for the upcoming tasting menu offering.

Beginning his career at the age of 16, Chef Farina went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Culinary Arts degree from Johnson & Wales in 2005. He moved to Chicago in 2008 and began developing his molecular gastronomy skills and creativity at Moto.  Throughout his chef experience, Chef Farina developed a fun and whimsical cooking style while honing his skills to create the award-winning dishes that put him on the map. “I make serious food without taking things too seriously,” says Chef Farina. “I’m excited to offer a newfound sense of whimsy to the menu, and I’m looking forward to showcasing my take on experiential dining for guests at Adorn.”

With an ethos of “lead by example and be the hardest worker in the room,” Chef Farina brings a management style focused on empowering his team and dedicated mentorship. His commitment translates out of the kitchen, as well, with a dedication to further enhancing all aspects of the Adorn hospitality experience.

Julia Casale, Director of Food and Beverage

In addition to Chef Farina, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago fortifies the culinary team with the addition of Director of Food and Beverage Julia Casale.
