Xeros adds another service to the Sbeadycare program to address needs in the laundry room

MANCHESTER, NH–(August 01, 2016) – Xeros, the innovator of an ultra-low water laundry system, announced today Xeros Sbeadycare ASSURE, a new add-on service to the Sbeadycare program that provides periodic laundry hygiene monitoring and government compliance assistance to ensure that laundry operations meet all regulations. Like Sbeadycare XTEND announced early this year, Sbeadycare ASSURE is another first in the industry. Together they provide customers with a "worry free" approach to managing their laundry operation.

To support the launch of Sbeadycare ASSURE, Xeros unveiled the results of a new third party bacteriology study from Kona Labs. Kona Labs is a trusted lab used by leading hotel brands in the world, and is based in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, a location that is known for strict environmental regulations. The independent testing confirms that the Xeros polymer powered laundry system provides the same level of hygiene in low temperature (ambient) washing as a conventional laundry system washing with high temperature water.

The results validate routine field testing and a comprehensive study performed earlier this year by scientists at the Xeros Technology Centre in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The Xeros testing results concluded that the Xeros system is able to sufficiently sanitize and hygienically clean dirty laundry in ambient temperature water as compared to conventional washers using hot water.

"We are constantly listening to our customers' needs and will continuously add new services to the Sbeadycare program to address their biggest laundry concerns." said Jonathan Benjamin, Global President, Laundry at Xeros. "Earlier this year Xeros announced Sbeadycare XTEND to address extending linen life, now with Sbeadycare ASSURE, we are providing peace of mind with regards to laundry hygiene and regulatory compliance. This new service is timely as governments and municipal water districts are placing greater emphasis on commercial laundries to monitor and control how they consume our world's most precious commodity."

The Xeros laundry system replaces up to 80% of the water with polymer beads that gently massage textiles to provide superior cleaning results as compared to conventional aqueous washing methods. By combining the beads' molecular structure with a proprietary detergent solution, dirt from soiled items is attracted and absorbed by the beads, producing cleaner results in ambient water. The polymer beads have a lifespan of hundreds of washes before being collected and recycled. The patented, award-winning system uses up to 80% less water, up to 50% less energy, and approximately 50% less detergent than traditional systems.
