Atlanta, February 2, 2023 – Alpharetta, Georgia’s first boutique hotel, The Hamilton Curio Collection by Hilton, is pleased to announce the appointment of Saleh Akley as the property’s new Director of Sales & Marketing. With over 20 years of experience in hospitality, Saleh will oversee all sales and marketing initiatives for the hotel and its on-site indoor and outdoor restaurant, Carrie’s Conservatory.

Prior to joining The Hamilton, Saleh was an Area Director of Sales with Aimbridge Hospitality, overseeing revenue at two properties, Hyatt Place Atlanta/ Norcross/ Peachtree and Hyatt Place Atlanta/ Alpharetta, Windward. In 2018, he helped open the Courtyard Atlanta Alpharetta/ Avalon, serving as Director of Sales until 2021. Even during the pre-opening phase of the hotel’s development, he was able to exceed sales goals with both groups and transient markets. Hotel Equities, who owned the hotel and also owns and operates The Hamilton, presented the “Ramp Up” Award to Saleh as a result of these achievements.

“Saleh is a passionate sales leader, but he also has a deep understanding of Alpharetta and its tight-knit community, making him the perfect addition to our team” said Amber Edwards, general manager of The Hamilton. “We’re overjoyed to have him on board and know he has what it takes to elevate this hotel as not only a market leader, but as an upscale Alpharetta destination with bespoke experiences that both visitors and locals cherish.”

Originally from Dubai, Saleh grew up in East Cobb after moving to the United States when he was eight years old. He started his trajectory in sales at The Westin Perimeter North in Sandy Springs, Atlanta in 2013. Prior to his role as Corporate Sales Manager, he worked within various departments at lifestyle properties, including food & beverage and operations, developing his passion for anticipating guest needs and creating unique experiences. When Saleh is outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and introducing his son to the great outdoors by camping and fishing.
