MEMPHIS, Tenn., May 24, 2023—The Central Station, a Curio Collection by Hilton™ hotel managed by Valor Hospitality Partners, announced today the appointment of Amy Gray as director of sales and marketing. Gray brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the 123-room boutique hotel located in Memphis’ iconic South Main district, which transformed the renowned transportation station into a luxury eight-story, music, art and design-driven hotel.

As director of sales and marketing, Gray will lead the sales and marketing team to ensure the highest level of client and community engagement, guest services touch points and profitability. As a seasoned hospitality executive, Gray has held leadership roles in sales and marketing for several prominent Mid-South hotels, event spaces and conference venues. Prior to joining the team at Central Station Memphis, Amy was the director of sales and marketing at Hilton Memphis. She previously served as the catering and banquet manager at the River Inn Harbor Town and as the director of event planning and convention services at the Sheraton in downtown Memphis.

Gray is actively involved in the Mid-South hospitality community where she is a member of several industry organizations. She has been an active board member of Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International’s Mid-South chapter for over 15 years, of which she currently serves as the president. She is also a member of Memphis Metro Attractions Association, Global Business Travel Association’s Mid-South, Tennessee Society of Association Executives and Memphis Hospitality Alliance.
