Creating Better Guest Experiences and Hotel Profitability through Advanced Mobile and PMS Technology

Washington D.C., February 3, 2016 – StayNTouch, an innovator in mobile technology and Property Management Systems (PMS) for hotels, today announced the closing of a $9.5M financing led by Concur, through its Perfect Trip Fund, and Shiji (Hong Kong) Ltd, to build out the company’s solutions worldwide. StayNTouch is leading the next generation of hotel management technology with a growing client list that includes MGM Resorts International, Yotel and distinctive resorts such as The Fontainebleau.

Also participating in the round are Triangle Peak Partners, Stanford University and Acceleprise.

StayNTouch’s cloud-based hotel PMS tackles one of the biggest challenges facing the hotel industry – successfully leveraging emerging technology in mobility to connect hotel staff and guests to enhance the guest experience and drive increased guest revenue.

StayNTouch’s Founder and CEO, Jos Schaap, said, “At a time when consumers are demanding efficient, personalized service delivered through mobile devices, hotels continue to wrestle with antiquated property management systems that cannot keep pace with consumer preferences. At the same time, they need to modernize hotel operations through advanced cloud applications. StayNTouch dramatically streamlines operations and increases margins, and revolutionizes how the hotels connect and engage their guests and how guests experience their hotels.”

StayNTouch’s proprietary RoverÔ solution empowers hotel staff to perform functions efficiently via tablet and mobile devices, driving tangible benefits such as a 10% to 20% increase in revenue, and 20% to 30% in cost savings. The company’s ZestÔ solution allows guests to self check-in and out, view hotel folio and receive upgrade promotions, all from their smart phones.

As part of the financing, Mike Eberhard, President of Global Distribution, Concur, and Kevin King, Chief Operating Officer, Shiji Group, will join the StayNTouch Board of Directors.

“One of the greatest challenges for any innovator is penetrating the external layer of customer web or mobile experiences to directly touch a hotel’s customer and property management systems. StayNTouch has been tremendously successful building a world class customer list to bring the benefits of a cloud and mobile-centric, comprehensive, PMS directly to hoteliers and guests,” said Mr. Eberhard. “We are proud to continue our relationship with Jos and his team and look forward to continued market adoption of the StayNTouch suite of solutions.”

Kevin King, Shiji Group Chief Operating Officer said, “StayNTouch solutions focus on the guest journey and hotel operational efficiencies, allowing hotels to take immediate advantage of mobile solutions with their existing property management system. We are confident that StayNTouch will bring hoteliers streamlined workflow management efficiencies, enabling better guest experience and increased revenues.”

Since its inception in 2013, StayNTouch has signed dozens of high profile properties and is currently deployed in select cities in the U.S and Europe. The company sees continued growth in these regions, and near-term expansion in Asia.
