PORTLAND, Maine – Eve’s at the Garden in the Portland Harbor Hotel welcomes Eric Flynn as Director of Food and Beverage and announces the return of Executive Chef Tim Labonte, who will hold a newly created position as Regional Executive Chef for Hart Hotels.

Eric Flynn was most recently Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director at The Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, a position he held for just under five years. Prior to that he was the Executive Chef at Cafe Nuovo in Providence and held positions at the Mayacama Country Club and the Charlie Palmer Group’s Dry Creek Kitchen, both in California. He is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.

Chef Tim Labonte returns to Eve’s at the Garden after working as Executive Chef at Congress Squared Restaurant. Previously, Labonte was Executive Chef at the Ocean Key Resort & Spa in Key West, Florida. Labonte earned a culinary arts degree from Johnson & Wales University in 1999 before beginning his career as a sous chef at the Key West Hilton Resort & Marina in Key West, Florida. In his new role with Hart Hotels Labonte will oversee food service at the Portland Harbor Hotel and the new Inn at Diamond Cove on Great Diamond Island.

Flynn and Labonte will work closely together, managing the hotels’ banquet menus for private events in addition to Eve’s breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
