Dublin & Denver — June 21, 2023: Hotel operators at HITEC Toronto will have an opportunity to learn how they can automate tasks, enhance the guest experience, and boost direct revenue by placing their booking engine at the heart of their e-commerce experience.

Hotel technology company P3 will demonstrate how features such as content customization, booking interconnected rooms, mobile payments, upselling, online check-in/checkout, and self-service kiosk systems can be integrated seamlessly into the online guest journey.

P3 Chief Executive Phelim Pekaar said that cloud-based property management systems with APIs and integration platforms mean that companies such as P3 are able to increase innovation and build booking engine solutions that meet hoteliers’ needs and redefine guest expectations.

“The level of customization that we can build into a booking engine to enhance the guest journey has changed dramatically in recent years,” Pekaar said. “It really is at the heart of the e-commerce experience for hotels. It used to be a nightmare to upgrade your booking engine and add new functionality to it. Now it is quick and easy – especially when it’s cloud-based. APIs in environments like Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP) are open to all developers, so all you need to do is work with expert companies that understand how to deliver what your hotels need. It’s more convenient and there’s a cost saving too.”

P3’s software solutions provide a deep integration with Oracle Hospitality OPERA property management systems. Last month, the company deployed a new customized booking engine across Omni Hotels & Resorts properties that had improved UX/UI design and payment integrations, and enhanced online functionality for Omni’s guest loyalty program. Members can now personalize their stay preferences, view their progression towards free nights, and more easily book reward stays.

Since partnering with Omni Hotels & Resorts, P3 has witnessed significant demand from hoteliers in the US and Canada for booking engine solutions integrated with OPERA that embody their brand and provide increased customization and functionality for guests. As a result of this growing demand, P3 recently expanded its operations to the U.S., opening a new office in Colorado to provide dedicated support to these clients and further expand the business in North America.

As HITEC Toronto approaches, P3 is working with many Canadian hotels, including Epik Collection, Entourage Resort, Le Bonne Entente, Elora Mill, The Inn at Fortune Bay, Chateau Bromont, and others. These hotels are now part of a community of other global hotel groups using OPERA alongside P3. This facilitates the seamless integration of their booking engine and e-commerce platform with their property management system, and it also gives them access to a continual development process shared across a larger like-minded client base.

P3 will showcase its booking engines, online check-in/out and kiosk systems at booth 536 at HITEC 2023 in Toronto, from June 26-29, 2023.
