Group Leaders and Members Now Manage Rooming Lists and Reservations Online from the Palm of Their Hand to Simplify Group Management

March 9, 2016 – Markham, ONMaestro PMS just made group management and reservations easier. Maestro’s ResWave Web Booking Engine now enables group organizers to manage rooming lists, track group block reservations, add meeting amenity requests, create shoulder rates for group members, and provide personalized landing pages for attendee self-booking online. ResWave is mobile-optimized to enable organizers and attendees to manage their group block and individual reservations from the palm of their hand.

“Maestro PMS provides hotel operators with a suite of ResWave online group and mobile functions that simplify the group booking process for group organizers, attendees and hotel staff,” said Maestro PMS President Warren Dehan. “Maestro’s ResWave gives hoteliers the option to let groups self-manage their rooming lists, rates and allocations to free property staff for other duties.”

“Crystal Springs Resort uses Maestro’s ResWave group landing pages to streamline our entire group booking process,” said Property Reservations Manager Nicole Molina. “When a group wants their members to book online, Maestro creates a custom reservation landing page with the organization’s logos, verbiage and dates. Group members receive a link to their booking page and easily make or modify their own reservations from their desktop or mobile device. ResWave saves our team a great deal of time.”

The hotel creates and oversees the initial group block in ResWave. Maestro’s team works with the property to develop a custom group reservation landing page as the group coordinator fills out an easy-to-use rooming list that is imported into Maestro. “ResWave is fully integrated with the Maestro PMS and mobile optimized so group leaders can manage their block, and group members can make and modify their own reservations without contacting the hotel. Since ResWave is part of Maestro, availability and rates are always accurate.” Dehan noted that ResWave also allows group shoulder rates. “If group members want to arrive early or extend their stay, ResWave will specify the agreed upon group shoulder rates for attendees.”

Maestro WebPRO also gives group members the option to handle their registration online or from a mobile device. “Group members can bypass the front desk with WebPRO mobile online check-in,” Dehan said. “Properties may send group members a personalized invitation to check-in online and offer revenue generating hotel amenities or specials.” Guests can provide the hotel with valuable information such as preferences and arrival times that help staff personalize the guest journey.
