LWHA Deepens its Management Team, as it Accelerates Growth and the Build Out of its Industry-Leading Suite of Services

NEW YORK, May 12, 2016 – LWHA Asset Management, a national firm that creates value for hotel owners through asset management and strategic hospitality consulting, promoted Ivan Colmenares to Vice President. . Based out of the company’s New York City headquarters, Mr. Colmenares, who was previously a Senior Associate has more than a decade of progressive hospitality industry experience, in development, operations and client service.

Prior to joining LWHA, Mr. Colmenares served in senior management, operations and development positions at Juan Valdez Café, a multinational hospitality company based in Bogota, Colombia. During his tenure, the company’s footprint grew sevenfold; Mr. Colmenares was responsible for spurring and managing the growth and direction of a successful turnaround in the company’s U.S. operations. Mr. Colmenares has operational experience at the New York Palace Hotel and he holds a Master’s in Hospitality Management from the New York University’s Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism.
