Javits Convention Center – hoteliers can conveniently power any model of smartphone or tablet either at the Kube Systems Booth #2327 or at one of four Manhattan-area hotels. The KS Portable™ Kube charges up to six mobile devices simultaneously. The hardware is fully upgradable to accommodate dynamic charging standards – ensuring a future proof investment.
Today more than 130 hotels are relying on this universal charging Kube to exceed guests’ expectations, increase satisfaction and drive loyalty. The Kube is ideal for any hotel space where outlets are in short supply, including the lobby, restaurant, bar or even event space corridors. For example, the New York Marriott Marquis has 30 KS Portable™ charging stations available to its guests in four locations: The Broadway Lounge and Crossroads Bar on the 8th Floor Lobby Level, the View Restaurant and Lounge fine dining venue, and the Concierge Lounge (available only to Elite Platinum and Gold members). Each KS Portable™ is equipped with a charger for Apple® Lightning, Apple® 30-pin, and Micro-USB flip-out cable. The Kube also boasts two additional USB ports and topside Qi wireless charging. Just plug in and experience charge speeds comparable to those from wall outlets. Each charge provides up to nine hours of phone charge time.
The KS Portable™ system is sold in sets of five units and come equipped with a Charging Tray. Kubes can feature custom branding and should be strategically placed in public areas or made available individually to guests via the front desk. Checking out a Kube is as easy as slipping the guest’s room key, credit card or ID into the adjoining slot. Each Kube can be programmed with a variable timeout function to limit user time and avoid power squatting.
