Visit Kube Systems TODAY in Booth 2654

[New YorkNovember 14, 2016] — Today at HX: The Hotel Experience, Kube Systems is showcasing its popular line of multi-device chargers for guestrooms and public areas that are keeping guests “wowed” over the ultimate convenience, and hoteliers overjoyed with the versatility of design and price-point. The Kube Audio Clock and Kube Essentials for guestrooms, and Kube 5 portable system for public areas, is on display now through November 15 in Booth 2654 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

“What hoteliers really need to see at HX 2016 is the final reveal of our new product, Kube Essentials,” said Dave Weinstein, Kube Systems Vice President. “We unveiled this product in June at HITEC and asked for feedback. The end result is a streamlined and more cost-effective in-room charger that is feature rich, future proof, and a lot of fun to use. Available at under $75 per room, this versatile and affordable in-room charger will become exactly what its name describes: and ‘Essential’ part of every hotel guestroom.”

Designed to be affordable for a wide range of hotel markets, the Kube Essentials alarm clock with multi-function LCD display powers ALL mobile electronics, including smartphones, tablets, cameras, and wearable technologies. It features a highly-visible, top-mount AC outlet that enables guests to easily plug in laptops or other electronics; a universal power outlet is offered in markets outside the U.S. The Kube Essentials also features longer Apple Lightening and Micro-USB flip out cables and can be upgraded to next generation charging formats, including USB Type-C (reversible plug capability). The unit is equipped with two rapid-charge smart USB Ports, and a wireless Qi charging pad that attaches to the base of the unit can be added as an option for less than $30 per unit. Kube Essentials will be available to hotels in March.

The illumination of the Kube Essentials clock face can be set to turn off completely at night via the snooze bar. Then, as morning comes, an ambient light sensor on the side resumes the LED clock face to a fully-on setting.

“No product on the market today offers the combined design versatility, powering capability, price point and small footprint that is available with Kube Essentials,” Weinstein said. “Many hoteliers outside of the luxury space told us that existing solutions on the market were somewhat prohibitive to their budgets. Today, the new Kube Essentials is giving these segments a lot more, for a lot less.”

Luxury Appeal, Small Footprint Designed for the upscale, luxury and boutique markets is the Kube Audio Clock which in 2016 earned the People’s Choice Award for “Best Technology Product.” Available in black or white, the Kube Audio Clock is an innovative power solution that features Bluetooth audio streaming, an intuitive alarm clock, and the ability to charge up to six mobile devices with an Apple® Lightning, Apple® 30-pin, and Micro-USB flip-out cable, two additional audio-sensing USB ports and optional Qi wireless charging. Like the Kube Essentials, the Kube Audio Clock features built-in charging cables that are replaceable and upgradeable as global charging standards change. In addition, security cables can be used to ensure the safety of all Kubes.

“Later this month we will announce the Kube Audio Clock as a ‘standard’ for two distinctive global brands representing upper-upscale and luxury accommodations in hotels, resorts and conference centers across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific,” Weinstein said. “This luxury segment loves the small footprint of the Kube Audio Clock, it’s Bluetooth streaming capability, and its integrated wired and wireless charging technologies. A point of differentiation for Kube Systems is our Android App-based Room Programmer that offers a GUI touchscreen experience. Hoteliers love how easy it is for hotel staff to program. Engineers can program settings for Daylight Savings Time (automatically adjust +1 or -1 hour during the respective DST switch), Display Brightness (day time / night time LED clock face brightness level), Alarm Tone (one of three alarm tone types can be selected), and Audio Volume (sets the maximum audio playback volume/ volume limiter) with just a touch.”

NEW Lower Price on Portable! Based on demand from hotel companies, independents and management companies for our portable charging Kube designed for public areas – including lobby, restaurant, bar, poolside and meeting rooms — the Kube 5 system is now available at just $999 per system. It comes as a set of five Kubes and a recharging tray. Each of the five portable charging Kubes features three built-in connectors, two USB ports and comes with Qi wireless charging that enables guests to simply rest or “drop and charge” their mobile devices on top of the Qi charging pad, located on the top of each Kube. Guests can power up to six mobile devices simultaneously; all smartphones and tablets are compatible, plus fitness bands, cameras and headphones. Each portable Kube has an 18,000 mAh battery that charges at a speed comparable to wall outlets, and provides up to nine hours of phone charge time, and each can be programmed with a variable timeout function to limit user time and avoid power squatting.

“The media is reporting that guests are demanding mobile device charging both in rooms and throughout the hotel,” Weinstein said. “At Kube Systems, we offer a solution for most hotel segments and most budgets. Hoteliers looking to boost guest satisfaction and loyalty through an improved mobile strategy need to visit Kube Systems at HX.”
