A TROPICAL ISLAND RETREAT AWAITS

Easygoing sophistication and rich contrast are at the forefront of Kimpton Grand Roatán’s design ethos. While Caribbean-based Lane Pettigrew Associates was tapped as the resort’s architects, the interiors were spearheaded by California-based Theresa Fatino Design in collaboration with the Kimpton Design team. Every space is thoughtfully curated to blend high design with artisan touches, with an overarching goal to celebrate the craftsmanship of Roatán, the resort highlights art and furniture pieces crafted on the island and in nearby communities.

Upon arrival, travelers are instantly immersed in the natural wonders of the island, wandering the labyrinth of paths that lead to the entrance of Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort & Spa. Once guests walk through the doors, they are greeted with an open-air concept lobby with straight-through views to the lush jungle and sparkling ocean waters creating an impactful sense of arrival.

The 119 stylish guest rooms with west-facing sunset views include specialty suites with private balcony plunge pools and standalone bungalows complete with private outdoor showers, serving as luxury sanctuaries, featuring color palettes inspired by Roatán’s flora and fauna with touches of deep oranges and warm wooden finishes. Hand-woven lamp shades crafted in Mexico adorn each guest room along with accents from local artists. Among the specialty suites are the Spa Suites, which invoke pure bliss, complete with an outdoor shower and a separate soaking tub for peak relaxation while the Presidential Suite, located on the top floor of the main building, touts a living and dining room, kitchen area and an oceanfront terrace with a private plunge pool.

For travelers seeking a more spacious, secluded retreat, standalone bungalows are available offering canopy or resort views. Each bungalow features multi-level accommodation with a plush King bed, living area with pull-out sofa, private outdoor shower and a stunning modern design that channels the tranquility of island life.

INTRODUCING NEW COASTAL CULINARY DELIGHTS
