Stamford, CT – October 7, 2021 – Greenwich Hospitality Group announced the appointment of Israel Benyair as Vice President of Operations for DELAMAR Hotels, independent boutique hotels in Connecticut and Michigan. He will also serve as the General Manager of DELAMAR West Hartford in Connecticut.

With over 27 years of experience in the industry, Benyair is a seasoned hospitality professional who brings a wealth of experience and leadership from luxury hotels in the USA and Europe. He comes to DELAMAR Hotels from The Mayflower Inn & Spa, Auberge Resort Collection, located in Washington, Connecticut, where he most recently served as General Manager.

As Vice President of Operations, Benyair will oversee and work closely with General Managers and Regional Directors at all of the DELAMAR properties located in West Hartford, Southport, and Greenwich Harbor, CT, and Traverse City, MI, while managing DELAMAR West Hartford’s day-to-day operations as the hotel’s General Manager.

Benyair’s background in senior luxury hospitality roles includes appointments at Mandarin Oriental New York, managing 550 employees; Mandarin Oriental Geneva, managing 230 employees; Hotel Beau-Rivage Geneva, Director of Food & Beverage; and Mandarin Oriental Boston, Director of Food & Beverage. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Institut Vatel Hotel School in Lyon, France, and is fluent in English, French, and Hebrew.
