(NORFOLK, VA; Jul 31, 2018) — Gold Key | PHR is excited to announce the addition of Bertrand Daluzeau as Director of Food & Beverage at Norfolk, VA’s premier property, the Hilton Norfolk THE MAIN. Bertrand brings a wealth of hospitality experience to THE MAIN’s three onsite restaurants. Under Daluzeau’s leadership, THE MAIN’s seafood concept, Saltine and upscale trattoria, Varia both secure the “2018 Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator.

As Director of Food & Beverage, Bertrand Daluzeau is responsible for the dining programs at all three of THE MAIN’s signature restaurants, Saltine, Varia, and Grain. He currently works to enhance overall customer experience at THE MAIN and works with THE MAIN’s Executive Chef, Fabio Capparelli and team on the creation of restaurant menus and special event menus that are handcrafted to satisfy each and every guest. Additionally, Daluzeau manages day-to-day function of the hotel’s dining program, including management of staff, vendor communication, and guest interactions.

Daluzeau brings with him over 17 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, his most recent position being Director of Food & Beverage at Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida. There he managed 7 outlets within the hotel property, generating a yearly revenue of $47 million. Prior to this he was Director of Food & Beverage at another Ritz-Carlton property, Ritz-Carlton Sharq Village & Spa in Doha, Qatar, and was responsible for 9 outlets bringing a yearly revenue of $17 million as well as doubling the revenue of Al Dana restaurant following its February 2016 relaunch. Throughout his many years in the industry he has held various director and management positions at notable establishments around the world, including Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, and Four Seasons Hotel George V.
