Washington, DC (July 19, 2019) – Michael George, Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, announced today that the hotel and resort management company has hired Nancy Johns as Vice President of Digital Strategy. Crescent Hotels & Resorts is an award winning, nationally recognized operator of major hotels and resorts throughout the United States & Canada.

In this role, Johns will lead and manage execution of corporate and property marketing strategic goals, specifically those eCommerce related activities such as content management, direct marketing, placement and distribution of strategy and reputation management among other items. This includes integration of strategies based on revenue goals for the hotels, day-to-day interaction with teams and hotels to ensure effective use of various platforms to measure brand utilization, regional and other specific marketing and corporate initiatives.

“Nancy has demonstrated an ability to maximize revenue generation through rapid, above-market, profitable growth in ecommerce channels for multiple properties, which will be critical to our portfolio,” said George. “Web, mobile, social and other digital media are not just the future – they are what customers are using right now to make their hospitality decisions.”

Prior to joining Crescent, Johns served as Corporate Director of Ecommerce for Pyramid Hotel Group. She has also held positions at Expedia Inc. and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and has earned awards for her work at Pyramid Hotel Group and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
