New York, NY– 33 Seaport Hotel, a newly opened boutique property managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, announces the appointment of Gary DeSoiza as General Manager. With over 20 years of hospitality experience, he will oversee all aspects of the 66-room property including daily operations and continued revenue and reputation growth strategies.

Gary was a longtime associate of Hersha Hospitality Management, holding various role throughout the company. Prior to this, he was General Manager at various New York based properties including NU Hotel Brooklyn and Hotel 373 Fifth Avenue. He also served as House Manager at the popular establishment, Soho House New York where he was responsible for the Front of House Membership Reception and Rooming Operation while also working in tandem with the culinary and event management team to continually offer an environment where members can connect, grow and make an impact.

Located at 33 Peck Slip, 33 Seaport Hotel is housed in a landmarked, red-bricked building that integrates seamlessly with the Georgian and Federal-style architecture that is a distinguishing characteristic of the Seaport District’s 18th century heritage.
