Hilton’s Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn Receive New Guest Rooms, Public and Meeting Space
ANCHORAGE, Alaska–August 2, 2023–Columbia Sussex, which owns and manages several hotels in Anchorage, including the full-service Marriott Anchorage Downtown and Hilton Anchorage Downtown, recently completed an extensive multi-million dollar renovation to its two extended stay properties, including Homewood Suites by Hilton and Hampton Inn. The renovations included refreshing upgrades to the lobbies and public spaces, dining areas, guest rooms, fitness centers and meeting spaces.

Homewood Suites Anchorage’s 125 room renovation includes:
- The hotel’s public spaces were completely reimagined to bring guests the latest brand amenities to help make their extended stay more homelike
- The lobby was completely redone with new modern finishes and furniture
- All corridors were outfitted with new carpeting, wall covering and lighting fixtures
- The suites were entirely refitted to offer guests the most comfortable stay possible, including new furniture such as dining room chairs, sofa beds and lounge chairs
Both the living and sleeping areas were relit to enhance the new bedroom accent walls, new headboards, and new artwork. New amenities include:
- Work stations with desk-level electrical outlets and high speed Internet access
- All rooms feature ”The Bed by Hilton” with luxurious top mattress sets, down comforter and plush pillows
- Hilton alarm clock radio with MP3 Player plug-in

Homewood Suites Anchorage offers studio, one and two-bedroom suites, all of which include fully equipped kitchens with microwaves and full-size refrigerators. In addition to the renovated areas, guests are also provided all the essentials needed for a comfortable and convenient stay. Guests can take advantage of daily complimentary full hot breakfast, manager’s reception on Wednesdays and a 24-hour on-site pantry. The Hampton Inn’s 101-room renovation is part of the brand’s redesign that updated exterior, public space and guestroom designs with Hampton by Hilton’s Casual Design option for its guest rooms and Confident Design scheme for public spaces. The renovations feature:

- Within each bathroom is enhanced lighting, décor and bath fixtures
