Recent successes include his role as the preopening general manager of Kisawa Sanctuary in Mozambique, Africa. Under his visionary leadership, Kisawa Sanctuary achieved a successful grand opening while embracing local cultures and environmental consciousness.

This appointment also celebrates a homecoming for Wangyel, who previously contributed significantly to the success of The Dunmore Hotel and Residences, and The Cove Eleuthera. His tenures at these prestigious properties solidified his reputation for excellence in the Bahamian hospitality landscape.

Originally from Bhutan, Wangyel holds a Master Certification in Hospitably Management from Cornell University and a diploma in Hotel Operations from the Institute of Hotel Management, Good Shephard, Kalimpong, India.
