During his tenure at MOHG, Meyer introduced numerous innovative forms of hospitality automation, and has gained vast experience in the implementation of HIS, Acom, Interfaces, Call Accounting, Micros POS, Fidelio, PABX, Door Lock systems, in-room entertainment, Central Reservations and Novell Group Wise e-mail. Meyer was also responsible for overseeing training of all employees and documentation of allcomputer operation policies and procedures, individually tailored to each hotel’s need. In addition to which, he was directly responsible for recruiting, leading and supervising of over 30 IT/EDP staff to ensure a smooth operation in all hotels and offices worldwide.

On a corporate level, Meyer directed the head office Technology Steering Committee on automation strategies which resulted in a “3 Year Technology Strategic Plan” plus the IT section of the “Controllers Policy and Procedure” Manual.
