Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Deploying IDeaS to Maximize Revenues Munich, Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland, June 13, 2000 – Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts announced that, following the excellent results at the pilot hotel, it will install the IDeaS yield management solution at more properties in 2000.
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts piloted the IDeaS yield management solution at one of its key properties, the 165-rooms Mövenpick Munich Airport Hotel in Halbergmoos, Germany. Over the test period in 2000, the hotel showed a significant increase in room revenues attributable to the impact of the IDeaS. Payback of the system will be achieved in less than 6 months.

Mövenpick Hotels intend to roll out the yield management solution to a number of its hotels in Europe over the next couple of months. Hotels will be chosen based on certain base factors and return-on-investment expectations.
