They are waiting to see if the city will approve the project for the particular land site on Route 611. No architect or general contractor has been selected yet, but they hope to break ground in July of 2012. June 28, 2011 (Planning/Approval) As of June 2011, Metro Development has signed a deal with Hilton for the hotel site. March 10, 2010 (Planning/Approval) As of early March 2010, Metro Development is the project’s developer. Plans were presented to town supervisors on 3/9/10. April 8, 2008 (Planning/Approval) On 4/8/08, a representative from Caldwell Development stated that a general contractor and architect have not yet been selected as the project is still early in the entitlement stage. The representative also stated that they are unsure whether it will go out for bid, but they estimate construction will start spring 2009. April 1, 2008 (Planning/Approval) As of 3/31/08, an agreement of sale is in place for the land for this project. The developer is in talks with several retailers. Plans for this project were presented to the Bucks County Planning Commission in February 2008 and went before the Warrington planning commission on 3/20/08. Plans will be finalized before summer 2008.
