Los Angeles, Calif. (May 4, 2016) Dorchester Collection is delighted to announce the appointment of Emanuela Setterberg as general manager of Hotel Bel-Air, effective May 2, 2016.

Reporting to Edward A. Mady, regional director of west coast USA, Emanuela brings to the company a wealth of experience, joining the team from her most recent position as managing director of the Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco, a Massimo Ferragamo owned estate. Prior to this, she was at the Bulgari Hotel in Milan, joining as part of the opening team. Spanning a long career in luxury hospitality, Emanuela spent many years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, working internally at their properties in Tokyo, Japan and Penha Longa, Portugal, as well as domestically in Atlanta, Sarasota and New York City.

A native of Italy, Emanuela earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Hospitality and Business Management from Leeds Metropolitan University. She is fluent in Italian, Swedish, Spanish and French, and was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations (CIHLER)
