NEW YORK (May 26, 2016)Hyatt Times Square New York is pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent de Croock as the Director of Sales, Marketing & Events where he will be responsible for elevating sales as well as pioneering strategies to drive occupancy and increase the hotel’s revenue. A driven, strategic and accomplished sales professional, de Croock will also be tasked with growing strategic accounts, fostering partner relationships and overall elevation of the hotel’s profile.

Ideally located for guests, Hyatt Times Square is a sleek property located steps away from celebrated attractions such as Broadway theaters, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center. With 487 spacious George Wong-designed rooms, 49 of them suites, this 54-story glass tower hotel is one of the tallest freestanding Hyatts in the world and boasts spacious rooms averaging 347 square feet with floor-to-ceiling windows. The guestrooms feel like luxury private apartments with an eclectic collection of city-themed pop, minimalist and conceptual artwork as well as breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows. Prior to this role, de Croock was the Director of Sales & Marketing at De L’Europe in Amsterdam, in which he managed a team of 19 to achieve 14 consecutive record-setting months in room revenue. No stranger to the Hyatt family, he began his career in hospitality in 2005 at the Park Hyatt Madrid as Sales Manager and later Senior Sales Manager. He later moved to Park Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC where here served as Associate Director of Sales at Park and later Director of Sales & Marketing at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables in Florida. De Croock was also the opening Director of Sales & Marketing at Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort in Costa Rica.

De Croock graduated from the Superior School for Hotel Management Maastricht, Netherlands. He has been recognized with various awards during his time at Hyatt properties including Department of the Year and Manager of the Quarter.

De Croock’s hospitality experience in four countries makes him a seamless fit for this new position. “Hyatt Times Square represents the true essence of New York City and I look forward to contributing to the hotel’s continued growth and success,” says de Croock.
