December 22, 2014 (Lake Arrowhead, Calif.) – Crescent Hotels & Resorts, the management company for Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa, has announced the appointment of Steve Tremewan as Director of Sales & Marketing. Tremewan oversees all sales and marketing efforts for the resort, part of Marriott International’s exclusive Autograph Collection of upscale independent hotels. Steve brings more than 25 years of hospitality sales experience to create innovative and effective initiatives for boosting revenues from group clientele and leisure travelers alike.

Tremewan has lent his sales and marketing expertise to resort properties in Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs, and Scottsdale, Arizona; hotels in Dallas, San Francisco, Sacramento and Colorado Springs; and branded hotel properties including Westin, Hyatt and Sheraton.

Tremewan arrives at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where he was Complex Director of Sales based in Dallas. Previously, Tremewan was Global Director of Sales for Pegasus Solutions, a global leader in providing technology and services to hotels and travel distributors, and before that was Director of Sales & Marketing at Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport.

An active and engaged professional, Tremewan has sat on the board of directors of the California Society of Association Executives (CalSAE), the Sacramento/Sierra Nevada chapter of Meeting Professionals International, Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, and the North Tahoe Business Association. Along the way he was named Supplier of the Year for CalSAE, and was Director of Sales and Marketing of the Year for Interstate (MeriStar) Hotels.

A native of Marin County, California, Tremewan earned a bachelor of arts degree in recreation administration from California State University, Chico.
