FRIGATE BAY, ST. KITTS – January 5, 2016 – St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Director of Food & Beverage Thierry De Lage.

Thierry De Lage, Director of Food & Beverage: De Lage comes to St. Kitts Marriott Resort from Waldorf Astoria El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico where he held the position of Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director for the last seven years. Before that he was the Director of Food & Beverage at the Candelero Resort at Palmas del Mar, a high-end villa & hotel community in Puerto Rico. De Lage began his career in the hospitality industry as a culinary apprentice in France, including the French Navy and a number of Paris restaurants before venturing outside of Europe. He continued his hotel career path as part of the opening team for the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Juan, a James Beard Award Recipient, as a Chef de Cuisine, completed culinary studies at the Culinary Institute of America and hotelier education at Columbus State College.
