This leadership transition embodies the seamless continuation of the rich legacy established by the company’s founders, Baldev Thakor and JD Deva.
After almost three decades of leadership, Baldev and JD will shift to the title of Founders, remaining actively engaged in a strategic and advisory capacity within the company. Their guidance will continue to shape Maya Hotels’ trajectory in the years to come.
Parimal joined Maya Hotels in 2008 and Krishna formally came on board in 2019. Throughout their tenures, their joint efforts have molded the company’s evolution and fostered its growth. As they carry the torch with their new roles, Parimal and Krishna continue to champion collaborative leadership. The duo jointly oversees all strategic planning and investment activity for the company. Parimal is focused on the company’s ground-up development and directs all capital projects. Krishna is responsible for driving operational excellence and financial performance across the organization.
