CHICAGO – (June 30, 2023) Great Wolf Lodge announced today the completion of a $12 million-dollar guest room renovation project at its resort in Grand Mound, Wash. The exciting refurbishment included the installment of new flooring, furniture, mattresses, lighting and drapes in 398 guest suites and the addition of 9 new suites.

Overnight guests will find their suites decorated with new artwork from Great Wolf Lodge’s animated feature film The Great Wolf Pack, a revamped fold out sofa that is easier to operate and more contemporary, a new seating table layout to comfortably fit more members of their Pack, and numerous other enhancements to elevate the family experience.

This is the first phase of a $40 million renovation project for Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound that includes updates to the Grand Lobby, water park, restaurants, and more.

“When families visit Great Wolf Lodge, they look at our guest rooms to provide some respite after enjoying a long day of play in our water park and at the resort. The updates we’ve made to our suites make them more inviting than ever before,” said John Taffin, General Manager of Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound.

“With the completion of the room renovation project, we will now focus all of our attention on completing the extensive work on the public areas of the resort that make Great Wolf Lodge such a wonderful destination for families in the Pacific Northwest.”

Some of the impressive new enhancements to the resort will be unveiled to guests later this year, including the completion of a refresh to the Cub Paw Pool and Whooping Hollow attraction – popular areas for families with toddlers – anticipated to be completed this summer.

Opened in 2008, Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound has been a popular destination for families in the Pacific Northwest with a convenient, central location between Seattle and Portland. In partnership with The Chehalis Tribe, this project represents the single highest investment in property upgrades since opening and will give families even more to love when they visit.
