The luxury island hotel in The Bahamas welcomes Natanzi to the executive team, who brings more than 20 years of leadership expertise in operations and food and beverage management

(NASSAU, The Bahamas; March 15, 2023) – Grand Hyatt Baha Mar—the luxury, family-friendly resort located on the picturesque island of New Providence in Nassau—announces the appointment of Mehdi Natanzi as the hotel property’s new Director of Food and Beverage effective January 22, 2024. With experience spanning more than 20 years within the Hyatt family, Natanzi brings to the role decades of success in providing strategies, coaching, support, and expertise in operations and food & beverage management.

From Tampa Bay to Atlanta to New Orleans, Natanzi’s tenures at Hyatt properties included a multitude of positions in food & beverage—including fine dining and restaurant openings—as well as hotel operations, including General Manager, Director of Banquets, Assistant Director of F&B, Assistant Director of Rooms, and Director of Operations. He was particularly instrumental in helping the Hyatt Regency Atlanta achieve many of its financial and guest satisfaction goal metrics, ultimately earning him the “Manager of the Year ” award.

In his new role, Natanzi will be overseeing the operations and management of more than 20 of Grand Hyatt Baha Mar’s restaurants and bar outlets, including Cinko, offering fully kosher, multicultural latin cuisine paired with bold Asian flavors; Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop House from Celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelsson, celebrating Bahamian culture; the elegant Shuang Ba, featuring Chinese cuisine; Café Madeleine, an authentic Parisian café; the all-day, internationally inspired buffet at RegattaStix Noodle Bar, featuring hand-pulled Asian noodles; Knosh, the property’s first kosher food truck; the lively live music and craft cocktail destination Jazz Bar, and more.
