NEW YORK (Sept. 10, 2014) ─ Michael Green, one of America’s premier food, wine and spirits celebrities, will be the keynote speaker at Questex Hospitality + Travel’s annual Luxury Travel Exchange International (LTX) event to be held Dec. 9-11 at The Palazzo® Las Vegas.

As wine consultant to Gourmet Magazine for 20 years, Green is a highly sought-after personality who has appeared on MSNBC, CNN, The Food Network and Today Show, among others, and at major wine and food festivals worldwide.

In addition, Green is founder and chief solutions officer of the Liquid Assets Consulting Group, a company that builds brands, drives sales and enriches client relationships through an experiential approach to marketing and sales. Much of his work is in the travel category.

His keynote presentation, “Selling Luxury Travel in the Experience Economy,” will provide insight into how luxury travel advisors can market their products and services in a unique and distinct way through customer personalization, engagement, access and memorable add-ons. According to Green, advisors can drive sales and exceed client expectations by satisfying customers on a deep, emotional level.

“Offering sophisticated travel experiences that combine elements of education, entertainment and escapism can engage and transform the consumer on a deeper level,” said Green. “As experiences become more complex and consumers become more knowledgeable, luxury travel is evolving, driving advisors to innovate and develop new service concepts.”

LTX brings fully vetted, top-producing advisors of luxury and premium niche travel together with leading suppliers for three days of one-to-one meetings, interactive networking and educational programming.

“As part of our continuing commitment to deliver great educational content that travel advisors can use to expand their luxury business, we are proud to present dynamic speakers like Michael Green to educate attendees on relevant topics critical to their success,” said Jill Birkett, LTX event director for Questex Hospitality + Travel. “We want attendees to understand how selling the overall travel experience can drive demand and revenue. Michael’s expertise puts him at the top of his field, and he is sure to energize and entertain our attendees with his global insights.”
