Eden Prairie (Minneapolis), MN, November 6, 2019 – One of the UK’s largest privately owned hotel groups, Edwardian Hotels London, is now a key player in Teneo Hospitality Group’s new European portfolio.

Among the 50 leading independent hotels and prominent European brands gained in Teneo’s far-reaching expansion, Edwardian Hotels London, owns and operates The May Fair, The Edwardian Manchester, both part of premium lifestyle brand Radisson Collection and an enviable collection of 10 individual luxurious Radisson Blu Edwardian hotels across London.

Edwardian Hotels London is currently completing its latest project, The Londoner. The world’s first super boutique hotel is now rising over London’s legendary Leicester Square, the heart of the West End theatreland. Scheduled to open in June 2020, the hotel will open across 16 stories with 350 guest rooms and suites; two private screening rooms; a mix of six concept eateries, bars, a tavern and a variety of meeting spaces and a results-driven gym and spa.

“Edwardian Hotels London combines the flexibility and innovation of an independent brand with the tremendous marketing and operational resources of a top international hotel company,” says Teneo President Mike Schugt. “Edwardian Hotels London is unequaled in its knowledge of the UK market, service innovation and commitment to responsible development and preservation of historic properties. Teneo is excited and honored to have Edwardian Hotels London as our partner as we continue our expansion in Europe, and they prepare to launch this ambitious project that will transform London’s hospitality scene.”

Hasnain Alloo, Commercial Director, Edwardian Hotels London said, “We are confident in Teneo’s ability to communicate the group’s unique offering to U.S. meeting and event planners. Our exceptional facilities across London and Manchester provide delegates with the ideal space to conduct impactful memorable events. From the Commonwealth Suite at our Heathrow property, able to cater for up to 700 guests, or our 201 private screening room at The May Fair Hotel, to The Hallé in The Edwardian Manchester, capable of hosting events for up to 550 people, we have the ideal space for any occasion.”

Edwardian Hotels London dedicate ongoing investment to the technology available to delegates at their properties. Built-in assisted machine learning using Natural Language Understanding (NLU) means more than 1,600 requests can be responded to in different languages.
