Atlanta, Ga. – May 16, 2018 – Coral Hospitality-GA, LLC today announced the appointments of new general managers at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge and Unicoi State Park & Lodge. The two will oversee property operations – including the financial, food and beverage, staffing, recreational and guest services departments – for their respective locations.

Georgia native Libby Cook joins Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge in a permanent capacity, after serving as interim task force general manager for the property and Unicoi State Park & Lodge since earlier this year. Cook’s experience spans more than 30 years with patient and guest service leadership roles in the healthcare, nonprofit and hospitality industries. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she began her career leading operations at various hotels and resorts in Florida, South Carolina and Virginia, later serving as quality assurance manager for a national and state park management company.

Brian Berry brings a wealth of experience to his role at Unicoi State Park & Lodge, having worked for nearly 20 years in the hospitality industry specifically. A graduate of the University of Texas, Berry has held a number of strategic positions including corporate director of operations, general manager and director of development for a variety of notable brands including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Intercontinental, La Quinta and Choice. From single property oversight to regional leadership roles, Berry brings a diverse background and dedication to guest service in this new role.
