AVON, Colo. (Aug. 3, 2015) – The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is pleased to announce that it has hired Chris Cofelice to serve as the Director of Sales & Marketing and Mark Hughes to serve as the Director of Rooms at the award-winning resort.

Cofelice joins The Westin Riverfront team from the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort, where he most recently served as the Director of Sales & Marketing. A graduate of the University of Florida, Cofelice previously held senior sales positions at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa and the Beaver Creek Lodge. Cofelice volunteers with the Vail Valley Habitat for Humanity and with the annual Eagle River Clean-up.

Hughes comes to The Westin Riverfront from the Sheraton Denver Downtown, where he most recently served as the Director of Housekeeping. A graduate of the University of Denver, Hughes also served as the Operations & Housekeeping Manager at the Denver Marriott Tech Center. Other hospitality experience includes The Westin Denver Downtown and the Denver Marriott City Center. Hughes has worked as a task force manager at several Starwood brands, including The Westin Snowmass, the St. Regis Deer Valley and the W Hotel Silicon Valley. Hughes spent more than 10 years living overseas in Africa and Asia and has led volunteer outreach trips to Haiti and Nicaragua.
