LᾹNA`I, HAWAI’I (May 31, 2018) – Executive Chef Christopher "Tex" Texeira brings over 15 years of culinary experience to Nobu Lāna`i, located at the AAA Five Diamond Four Seasons Resort Lāna'i, jumping right into the culinary world after high school and attending the KCC Culinary Arts Program on Oahu.

Texeira is well versed in Nobu philosophy and style, working in the kitchens at Nobu Waikiki before heading to Lanai to help open the resort’s restaurant in 2012. He ultimately returned to Lāna`i in 2013, eager to enjoy the island’s peaceful quietness and become a member of its close-knit community.

As Executive Chef, he will oversee all the restaurant’s operations; Nobu Lanai features a sushi bar and Teppan tables as well as seating overlooking the beautiful Hulopo'e Bay.

Apart from his dedication to the culinary arts, Texeira is an avid outdoorsman, particularly camping and hunting, and is eager to incorporate Lanai venison into signature dishes. Born and raised on Kailua on Oahu, Texiera lives on Lanai with his fiancé Erika and the couple look forward to celebrating their nuptials in the coming year.
