LA ROMANA, D.R. (November 22, 2016) – The Executive Committee of Central Romana Corporation, Ltd. today announced the appointment of Mr. Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg as President of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Pichardo Rosenberg has extensive experience in the Dominican and international tourism industry and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC). In addition, he attended the Hospitality Center for Professional Development at Cornell University in New York.
For several years Pichardo Rosenberg has held various executive positions in hotel chains and real estate groups, both in the U.S. and in the eastern and northern parts of the Dominican Republic. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Operations for the Mexican Caribbean market at Occidental Hotels / Barceló, and was part of the team that during the last year led the integration process between these international hotel chains. Prior to this, Pichardo Rosenberg served as Occidental Hotels' Senior Vice President of Operations, Marketing & Sales for the United States, Mexico and Aruba, where he was responsible for the planning and development of sales, marketing and e-commerce strategies.
