Hotel Online News for the Hospitality Executive White Lodging Executes Management Contracts with RLJ Lodging Trust for the Residence Inn and Courtyard at Houston's Downtown/Convention Center MERRILLVILLE, Ind., May 16, 2013 — White Lodging (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has executed two new management contracts with RLJ Lodging Trust for the Residence Inn and Courtyard at Houston's Downtown/Convention Center. The hotels increase the number of management contracts the Company operates in Texas to 37 and also increases the number of contracts with its long-time partner RLJ Lodging Trust to 106. "It is very exciting to continue to expand our presence within Texas through the assumption of two high-quality hotels, the Courtyard & Residence Inn Houston Downtown/Convention Center, located inside Houston's historic Humble Oil Building that was constructed in 1921," said Michael Hildum , Regional Vice President at White Lodging. "We are thrilled to continue our strong relationship with RLJ." The two properties will be led by General Manager Ryan Frederick , who has been with White Lodging since 2006. Frederick has served as general manager of a variety of properties in the White Lodging portfolio, most recently leading the team at the Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco Airport, which White Lodging acquired in 2012. The Residence Inn and Courtyard, housed in the 1921 Humble Oil Building, are located in the heart of Houston's central business district and are within walking distance to Minute Maid Park, the George R.
