Hotel Online News for the Hospitality Executive The 61-room BEST WESTERN Pioneer Plaza Hotel Opens inCarbondale, Pennsylvania May 21, 2013 – The Hotel features 61 spacious guest rooms and suites, with flat screen TV’s and upgraded amenities. A fitness center, business center and sundry shop are also available. A complimentary deluxe continental breakfast is served daily for all overnight guests. A full service themed restaurant and bar will open in the fall of 2013, as well as a banquet facility featuring 6,500 square feet of flexible space that will be conducive to meetings or large social events. The Hotel itself is a landmark location, built on the site of the former “Irving Theatre”. The theatre stood on Main Street from 1923-2003 and was an active local attraction from 1923-1973. The owner/general contractor Daniel Sinawa is thrilled to be able to bring such a facility to the Carbondale area and looks forward to being a part of and servicing the local community for many years to come. Sinawa has hired Marshall Hotels & Resorts Inc. to manage his Hotel.
