Global Reservation Systems Designs for WorldRes.com an Internet Air-Booking System CORTE MADERA, Calif. – March 6, 2000–Global Reservation Systems, a business-to-business Internet distribution company for travel agents, corporate travel managers and travel suppliers is implementing its first private-label booking engine.
Designed specifically for WorldRes.com, the GRS engine will provide Internet-based air booking capabilities for selected partner resorts as part of WorldRes.com’s custom vacation products.
Currently WorldRes.com offers technology that allows travelers to combine lodging with other services, such as ski-lift tickets, skiing lessons, equipment rentals and airport transfers.
Global Reservation Systems is the first to market a business-to-business travel network that links a wide array of travel services and merchandise into one delivery channel for the global travel industry.
