Johnson’s extensive background and experience will be used to create a strategic position in the national and international travel markets.
Johnson’s expertise in the tour and travel industry began in England with a Tour Operator, Thomas Cook, where she gained eight years of experience on the wholesale side of the tour and travel industry. Johnson has moved to the U.S. where she spent four years at the Catamaran Hotel, San Diego, CA, as the Director of Tour and Travel. Her knowledge and expertise in the field of tour and travel is well recognized in San Diego. “We are delighted to welcome Liz to our growing sales effort and our venture into this very exciting and rewarding market,” notes John Davies, Director of Marketing.
Liz will focus on introducing the resort to international tour and travel operators and travel agents. Much of her time will include traveling and hosting travel related familiarization visits. She also has an ongoing relationship with the Convention and Visitors Bureau where she holds a position on the travel industry sales committee as well as the international sales subcommittee. She is already in the process of incorporating Paradise Point Resort as a tour and travel destination to her extensive client base.
