Michael J. Vito Appointed General Manager at The Seneca Hotel & Suites, Chicago Chicago, May 16, 2000 – The Seneca Hotel & Suites, 200 E. Chestnut St., Chicago, has announced the following staff promotions and appointments:
Michael J. Vito, 33, has been promoted to general manager. He had been the Seneca’s operations manager. Before that, he had been general manager of the Holiday Inn & Suites, Atlanta, Ga.
Peter A. Chesek, 27, has been promoted to senior sales manager, from sales manager. In his new position, he also oversees sales for the Belden-Stratford, a sister property in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Natalie Vitek, 59, has been appointed sales manager, responsible for group travel, travel agents, and university clients. She had been sales manager for Chicago’s Allerton Hotel for 12 years.
Built as a luxury apartment building in the 1920s, the stately 270-room Seneca Hotel & Suites offers business and leisure travelers large suites in a quite, Gold Coast location, a block east of North Michigan Avenue.
