ATLANTA, GA JUNE 5, 2023 — Vector Hospitality, Inc., an Atlanta based hotel developer, is thrilled to announce its plans to develop two hotels, an AC Hotel by Marriott and Tempo by Hilton containing a spacious 275-space parking deck, totaling 337 rooms, in the vibrant heart of Downtown Knoxville. These ventures mark a significant milestone in the company’s growth and reflect Vector’s unwavering commitment to fueling economic growth and enriching the hospitality landscape within its cities.

The decision to develop these projects stems from Vector’s vision of creating thoughtfully designed spaces that offer inviting ambiances with contemporary styling to provide an elevated guest experience with anticipatory service and thoughtfully executed amenities. The projects will serve as beacons of sophistication and hospitality and aim to cater to the growing demand for premium accommodation and convenient parking solutions, enhancing the experience for both residents and visitors to Knoxville.

The seven-story, 162 room AC by Marriott, located at 427 Walnut St. and 416 Locust St, will offer guests a frictionless hotel experience that anticipates and supports their true needs, and enables them to live life on the road by design, not by default. With flexible open spaces, purposeful design, signature moments, and no unwanted extras, guests maximize their stay with style and intention. The property is anticipated to open in Fall 2025 and will feature a rooftop bar with panoramic views of Neyland Stadium, Sunsphere, and the surrounding city.

The nine-story, 175 room Tempo by Hilton, located at 409 W. Church Avenue, will offer guestrooms that have been designed as welcoming treats with the brand’s signature Power Up and Power Down collections to assist guests with getting energized for the day or winding down for the night, as well as inviting public spaces, including flexible meeting space, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and surprising, uplifting artistic touches. The property is anticipated to open in Spring 2026 and will feature an expansive terrace bar and café serving Bluestone Lane Coffee, allowing patrons to sip in style and be a part of the surrounding, busy Market Street area.

In addition to the hotels, the Tempo by Hilton project will include the construction of a state-of-the-art parking deck, providing a secure and convenient parking solution for hotel guests and visitors to the area. The 275-space parking deck will address parking challenges in the bustling Downtown district, contributing to the overall development and prosperity of the community.
