OCEAN CITY, MD (June 4, 2015) – Real Hospitality Group (RHG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Staib as General Manager of the new Bethany Beach Ocean Suites, set to open July 2015. A Delaware native, he will be returning back home to oversee all aspects of the hotel’s pre-opening stages of development, the hiring and training of all personnel, and day-to-day operations following the property’s opening.

With over 25 years of experience in both full service and select service hotels, Staib is a veteran in the hospitality industry. Starting from the ground up, he has immersed himself in all aspects of hospitality throughout his career. Having served in the housekeeping, food & beverage, concierge and sales & marketing departments, Staib advanced to operations and management roles. Prior to joining Bethany Beach Ocean Suites, Staib served as a General Manager with Hilton Hotels Hampton Inn brand for 12 years where he provided strong leadership to produce stellar guest service and bottom line results. He later took on the role as Director of Hotel Openings for a large hotel management company and was responsible for all aspects of pre-opening for nine select service hotels with Starwood, Marriott, IHG and Hilton, primarily in the New York City market. Staib has extensive experience with marketing and branding independent hotels, leveraging online marketing and other tools to maximize both exposure and revenues. A professional with significant expertise in resort markets with franchise and independent hotels, Staib’s strongest skill set is utilizing revenue management to maximize revenues and drive bottom line profit.

Bethany Beach Ocean Suites is set to offer an entirely new experience for the region. The premium waterfront property located in Bethany Beach, DE, between the nightlife of Ocean City, MD and the retail offerings of Rehoboth Beach, DE, will serve as a quiet haven for those looking for luxury accommodations, waterfront dining, direct beach access and more. As the first and only full-service hotel on the beach, guests can experience breathtaking views and an array of luxurious amenities while staying at the all-suite property. The hotel will boast 112 suites, each with a private balcony, many of which will overlook the Atlantic Ocean or the quaint Bethany Beach town and its famous boardwalk.
